ICAIIS - 2024

In recent years, computer vision techniques have received significant attention from the research communities of artificial intelligence, machine vision, image understanding, automation, pattern recognition, etc. The topic of Internet of Things [IoT] has become one of the topical themes in international conferences on both automation and machine learning area. Over the past few years, multitudes of efforts have been made in deploying IoT and computer vision in unstructured and dynamic environments. On the other hand, bio-inspired techniques is an interdisciplinary area that encompasses a variety of computing paradigms. In the last decade, several bio-inspired techniques such as neural network, genetic algorithms, brain-inspired computing and artificial life, have found numerous applications in various domains of computer vision and image processing.

There are numerous applications of IoT, computer vision and bio-engineering ranging from industrial automation to agriculture and from medical imaging to aerospace engineering. This 2024 ISMAC CVB conference edition deals with the relevance and feasibility of computing tools in the area of image processing, analysis, and recognition.

The 2024 conference theme is "Intelligent Techniques for Computing, Computer Vision and Image Understanding". This edition intends to provide a collection of high-quality research articles that address widespread challenges in both theoretical and real-world application aspects of IoT and computing approaches in computer vision and image processing. ISMAC-CVB 2024 invite researchers/academicians/industrialists to contribute novel and unpublished research articles, as well as review articles, that stimulate the continuing effort on the application of intelligent computing approaches to solve computer vision and image-processing problems.
